Ill children will not be allowed to attend classes and kindergartens - new rules are being introduced in Russia

In Russia, a general rule is introduced prohibiting children from entering schools and kindergartens who have even the slightest signs of ARVI.

In other words, cold school children and preschoolers will not be allowed in children's groups, so as not to spread the disease.

From this autumn, so-called "morning filters" will be introduced in educational and preschool institutions. Each child before the start of classes will be examined by a medical professional.

If you find a cold, redness of the throat, even a slight increase in temperature, the child will be sent home.

The corresponding decree was signed by the chief sanitary doctor of the country, Anna Popova.

The need for such a document was long overdue: parents often take a child to the kindergarten with a runny nose and discomfort just because he is left with no one at home, and schoolchildren go to classes because of control tests and exam preparation.

As a result, in the children's team during periods of mass morbidity viruses spread with unprecedented speed.

With new rules for admission to attend kindergartens and schools, parents will be introduced to each institution at the beginning of the new school year. The rules will take effect from September of this year.

One year later, experts of Rospotrebnadzor will sum up the first results of the measures taken, having analyzed the childhood incidence for two epidemiological seasons - the autumn and spring.
