The woman gave birth to 44 children from one man, but they all grow up without a father.

The amazing story of a Uganda mega mother of children has spread around the world thanks to the Kenya Citizen TV channel. Mariam Nabatanzi Babirye raises 44 children born by the same man, but without his participation.

Now Mariam is 40 years old, during which time she had a birth of 44 children (there are twins, triplets and even fours). She dreamed of a big family since childhood, but wanted to be limited to only 5-6 children. However, it turned out differently.

Mariam was married according to the traditions of her people at the age of 12. Among her children there are six pairs of twins, four triplets and even three quadruple. Ten children - daughters, the remaining 34 - boys.

Now the oldest is 24 years old, and the youngest child is only two years old.

The girl's husband was 28 years older than her, and on the fragile teenage shoulders immediately after marriage lay the care of his many children from previous marriages.

After the sixth birth, Mariam had 18 children, she decided to stop at this and went to see a local doctor. The doctor turned out to be very illiterate, but Mariam, even less literate, did not pay attention to this. Lzhevrach told her that she suffers "an overabundance of eggs," and therefore will die if it stops giving birth.

The prospect of dying, having 18 children in her arms, scared the girl, she continued to give birth. At 23, she already had 25 children. She again came to the doctor with a request to help her, because neither the pill nor the condoms saved her from pregnancy (amazing natural fertility!).

Although the hospital was different, and the doctor was different, Mariam again received a recommendation to give birth.

The only thing known about the father of children is that he appears at home once a year or less, abuses alcohol, does not provide for his numerous offspring, and, according to a woman, gives them the names by phone. Mother raises children alone.

To feed his horde, Mariam spends about 100 thousand Ugandan shillings per day, which in translation into Russian currency amounts to about 1,800 rubles. For this amount, she buys 22 kilograms of corn flour, a few kilograms of beans, sugar and soap. All this takes a day and the next day you need to repeat the purchase.

In order to have income, a woman had to learn hairdressing, she does hairstyles and styling, and also helps to hold events, decorates brides, sews clothes, bakes pies and cakes to order, and also lays bricks on construction sites. In addition, she collects and sells medicinal herbs. Takes on any business and never complains about lifedeclaring that she is already happy for the reason that God gave her so many children.

It should be noted that the priority item of expenditure Mariam considers the education of children. She herself did not receive it, now she intends to do everything so that everything children received worthy professions. The older ones have already learned to be a nurse and a builder, they are now looking for work.

Nine children go to school, the rest - in elementary school. A woman sleeps no more than 4-5 hours a day, but never pity herself, believing that every hour spent with children is a gift from heaven.
