In one fell swoop: a resident of Iraq gave birth to seven children at once

In eastern Iraq, in the province of Diyala, seven babies of the same mother appeared at the same time. 25-year-old resident of the province gave birth naturally to six girls and one boy.

These phenomenal childbirths are the first in the history of a Middle Eastern country and the second in world history. The official representative of the local Department of Health came out to the press with a statement in which he noted that seven children were a complete surprise for the medical staff (it was expected that the woman would give birth to a triplet maximum), but and children, and their mother, in one moment became so large, feel goodNothing threatens their lives and health.

There are already children in the family, three of them. The father of seven newborn children, Yusef Fadl, told reporters that he and his wife did not plan to increase the size of their family so much, because now they will have to take care of ten at once.

However, the happy father noted that he infinitely grateful to God and happy that it was in his family that charming babies came.

The seven in one womb are septaplets, that is what the seven seeds are called in medicine. The first case, when born septaplety survived, was registered in Iowa in the United States in 1997.

Then, seven children were born to Bobby and Kenny McCauga after a long treatment for infertility. Then the current couple was personally congratulated by the current president of the country, Bill Clinton. The family was presented with a big house, a van, a year’s supply of macaroni and cheese, a two-year supply of diapers and a scholarship to teach all children at any university in Iowa in any specialty they chose when they grew up.

It is not reported whether the Iraqi septaplets will be honored at the state level.
