A 9-year-old child from the Australian state of Queensland became famous after his exact weight became known - boy today weighs 178 kilograms.
The child began to recover almost from birth, - his weight always exceeded the allowable age norms.
By the age of six, he already weighed about a hundred kilograms, doctors diagnosed extreme degree of obesity, but parents did not attach much importance to this and refused to start treatment and limit the child in sweets and fast food.
Now, when the weight of a nine-year-old child approached 180 kilograms, mom and dad turned for help themselves.
Doctors began working with the boy, who immediately found out that, in addition to the extra kilos, the child had type 2 diabetes.
The boy was hospitalized. Doctors intend to do everything possible so that the child could lose weight by the time puberty began.
