Children free-riders banned from planting out of transport

The Ministry of Transport of Russia has prepared a bill according to which disembarking children free of charge will be strictly prohibited.

Recently, news about such cases has come from different regions of the country: a child is put out of a bus in the cold just because he does not have enough money for a ticket. Children have to walk, some are quite far and long. Not all such cases end safely.

Employees of the President’s State Legal Department responded to the conductor “lawlessness”. They insisted that the Ministry of Transport take up the issue and make changes to the rules for transporting passengers by public transport.

The draft law currently being created is being reviewed by members of the Russian Government.

The law will now be formulated in such a way that the conductor will under no circumstances be able to land a child in the coldwho is not yet 16 years old - neither the absence of a ticket, nor the refusal to pay an administrative fine are not good reasons for exposing the child’s life to danger, leaving him in the cold.

It should be noted that the ban on disembarking children traveling in vehicles without a ticket does not exempt their parents from the obligation to pay an administrative fine. He will be compiled and sent to the name of the mom or dad of the young free-rider.
