On trial for tenderness: in Egypt, a four-year-old boy was accused of harassment

In Egypt, a juvenile court considered an unusual criminal case.

Four year old boy was accused peer harassment in kindergarten. The kid allowed himself to kiss the girl on the cheek.

The girl's father immediately went to the police, regarding the child’s actions as harassment.

Last December, the police received a statement from him. Law enforcement officers had no right to ignore him.

They decided not to arrest the young "harasser" for the time of the investigation and left them under the care of their parents, albeit temporarily forbade him to attend kindergarten and leave the country.

Also, the inspector and cases of juvenile delinquents and psychologists regularly visited the baby for six months.

Several times teachers from kindergarten, parents of the boy tried to convince the father of the “offended” girl that the kid did nothing wrong - he just I wanted to express my tenderness.

But the adult remained adamant and refused to withdraw his statement from the police.

Recently, the investigation was completed and the case was brought to court.

Now Egyptian justice has announced its verdict: let the boy go, accusation to recognize as insignificant and absurd, remove all suspicions from him. The kid was allowed to go to kindergarten again and communicate with peers.
