If the child disappeared: the social network spreads the virus "hiding"

Parents are urged to be more vigilant - there is a new “viral” childhood and adolescent hobby - hide and seek on the Internet. 24 hour flash mob is rapidly spreading through the Russian segment of social networks and updated with new and new members.

Its essence is that the participant must disappear for 24 hours without contacting their parents. Naturally, parents for those days you will not envy - they alert the police, volunteers, rescuers, a search operation is launched.

Experts told how to protect a child from such "entertainment".

This "game" was invented by American teenagers who stayed for a day in one of the twenty-four-hour shopping centers and did not get in touch with anyone. During the day, they filmed their wanderings on the phone, and then posted videos on the Internet.

Such 24-hour disappearances of children have already been recorded in Buryatia, Novosibirsk, Moscow and a number of other regions.

Experts from the Ministry of Internal Affairs said that the flash mob is a danger to minors - anything can happen to them in a day on the street, it is possible that the fun can end in tragedy.

In addition, according to the law, immediately after the parents are informed about the disappearance of the child, without delay, the police must begin a search operation. Experience shows that large-scale searches have been taking place within two hours, to which a large number of people, including volunteers, have joined.

Criminal case is initiated.

The adolescent himself, after he is found, is threatened with putting on preventive registration, and parents are subject to administrative responsibility for the improper performance of duties in relation to the minor.

Moms and dads are recommended to install on the phone for the child and on the home computer programs that blocking inappropriate content. It's easy to do, instructions are in the public domain on the web. Of course, this will not solve the problem completely, since adolescents can very quickly find ways to circumvent protection.

In any case, experts in information security of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation advise that adults should regularly check the history of visiting sites, be interested in which groups the child is in, who are his real and virtual friends.

But first you need, without delay, to talk to the child, tell him about the dangers of the new virtual "fun", and also about the fact that love and wait at home. This is the best prevention of conscious disappearances and disappearances.

If the child is still missing and does not get in touch, you should contact the police as soon as possible. The sooner he is found, the less risk that he will become a victim of criminals, robbers, rapists, hooligans, that he will not catch a cold and will not be injured.
