Husband did not come out: mother of four children do not recognize having many children because of the nationality of the spouse

A resident of the Moscow Region Pushkino is faced with an unusual problem: they refuse to recognize her having many children because the husband does not have Russian citizenship.

Victoria Lesovskaya in February gave birth to the fourth baby. He was born from a second husband. The spouse is Moldavian and does not have Russian citizenship.

When Victoria applied to the local MFC to inscribe the newborn on her identification card with a large mother, she was refused.

Officials motivated this by the fact that Victoria with many children can no longer be counted, since she can not provide in the IFC Russian passport your spouse.

Considering the refusal unreasonable and even ridiculous, the woman went to the Department of Social Welfare around the city.

But there she was also refused to replace the certificate of a large mother. In addition, employees of the social service threatened select existing certificate and deprive Victoria of all the benefits enjoyed by large families, because her husband is Moldovan.

By law, in Russia, a large family is considered to be a family where three or more minor children. The father of Victoria’s three children is Russian. But with him she is divorced.

For some reason, the woman did not have any problems with the registration of a new marriage, although the CSRA clearly saw that the groom does not have a Russian passport, and has only the Moldavian document.

Now a 35-year-old resident of the Moscow region intends to go to courtso that the servants of Themis figure out how the nationality of the child’s father affects her status as a mother with many children, because the law on large families does not say anything about the father’s nationality!

Lawyers who have already responded to the ridiculous story, call the refusal of officials illegal and tend to see it as discrimination based on nationality.

Lawyers have already helped a woman make appeals to the Department for the Protection of Human Rights, as well as to the guardianship and trusteeship authorities.
