To whom and how much: the Ministry of Finance clarified the procedure for granting preferential mortgage to families with children

The Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation clarified the rules by which preferential mortgages will be issued for families in which the second and third children were born.

From now on, such families will be able to expect to receive a preferential mortgage, even if their children appear on the last day of the program - in December 2022.

Since it was originally stated in the rules that only families in which second and third children have given birth can expect a preferential mortgage with state co-financing. January 1, 2018 to December 31, 2022, the involuntary, but logical question arose: what about those who will have children born at the end of December 2022?

After all, they may not be in time to get all the necessary documents before December 31 ...

It was for them that they provided for an important amendment - they can receive a loan later, by presenting a baby’s birth certificate to the bank.

Among the amendments to the Resolution of the Government of Russia is also a clarification of the purpose of loans.

Refers to the indication loan targets in the event that a family with children takes the funds of the bank to pay off the loan received for housing earlier.

The cost of the loan may be lower than 6% per annum, but government subsidies in any case will be 6%.

After the grace period ends, the family will be able to rely on a loan rate. no higher than the key rate of the Central Bank, which acted on the date of conclusion of the contract.

If at the end of the grace period, there is a replenishment in the family again, and the next baby appears, an additional agreement will be concluded to the contract and subsidies continue for another five years.

A new program of preferential mortgage lending to families with children (two or more) at 6% per annum was launched by President Vladimir Putin autumn of 2017.

This was done as part of increasing the state support measures for the birth rate in the country.
