"Windows of life" can close - "baby boxes" in maternity hospitals under threat of liquidation

In these technically well-equipped devices, anyone can leave a baby without filling out the official rejection of it. A bill on the legalization of “baby boxes” was submitted to the State Duma. Now they exist only in a number of cities. as an experiment.
The State Duma Committee for Health Protection insists on the rejection of the bill. According to experts, such "places for leaving babies can lead to bad consequences".

The authors of the bill intend to insist on the consideration of their initiative and have already prepared new accompanying notes.
According to them, salvation at least one babywhich could have died if it had been abandoned in the cold, but survived thanks to the “window of life”, fully justifies all the costs of organizing “baby boxes”. Human life in general has no price in cash equivalent.
