A psychologist-robot will help eradicate school aggression

American scientists from the University of Cincinnati invented a computer algorithm that unmistakably "calculate" difficult teenagers.

This development is planned to be used to eradicate the phenomenon of aggression and violence in children's groups.

In order to create this program, scientists had to survey 103 students from 74 schools.

The kids were not involved in the survey, only representatives of the so-called "difficult age" - from 12 to 18 years.

All the guys who were invited for an interview, previously repeatedly showed aggression to their peers.

Scientists asked the guys about their views on the world, on people, on the concepts of good and evil, on their own family and their comrades.

As a result, a certain computer algorithm was created, which identifies certain words in teen speech and combinations of words that directly or indirectly indicate hidden aggression.

The algorithm has already been tested in hundreds of US educational institutions, the accuracy of the result is evaluated by psychologists and social educators in 91,5%.

How will the novelty be used? It is very simple - if the student has a program that reveals an increased level of aggression, it is defined in a class where the conflict between different types of teenagers will be kept to a minimum.

For example, two pronounced aggressive leader boys will never be identified in one class. But here the aggressive girl and the aggressive boy may well coexist in the same team, while the levels of their aggressiveness, according to the observations of psychologists, will be leveled.

Teachers from other countries, including Russia, are already interested in the robotic "psychologist".

It is possible that the idea will be adopted, and Russian programmers will begin to develop a similar algorithm for schools in our country.
