In Russia, open their own Shaolin - children in Buryatia will be trained in the ancient traditions of Buddhist monks
August 18 will open in Buryatia Russia's first analogue of the Buddhist monastery of Shaolin. The project was conceived and implemented in the Association of Buddhists of Russia.
The monastery in the ancient Chinese style, with pagodas and datsan will open in Mukhorshibirsky region of the republic. It will have its own children's school of ancient martial arts.
It is planned to raise children in the monastery in the best traditions of Shaolin practices.
For training is planned to take boys aged 10 to 16 years. In addition to studying with famous martial arts masters, children will study philosophy, religion, world literature, and foreign languages.
At first it will be a datsan, but after six months, living in a monastery will be boarding.
Russian Shaolin is located between the villages of Narsatui and Bom.
Shaolin is a famous monastery in central China. Its traditions are known far beyond the Middle Kingdom.
In terms of raising children - boys, Buddhist monks are rather stern, but fair and humane.
The basic rule is that a warrior must not kill, he must defend himself, using knowledge in the field of medicine and anatomy.
Children are taught to meditate, maintain their physical and spiritual health. In Chinese, Shaolin take children from 4 to 6 years. The first lesson in children begins early in the morning and lasts three hours - from 4 to 7 in the morning. All students have strict obedience, they serve themselves.
They comprehend basics of the universe, the principles of wisdom and justice, a reasonable approach to life and the people around them, learn to control themselves and their bodies.
At the end of the course, each boy can practice ancient medical practices, as well as walking on glass, nails and not changing poses for several hours. They are taught to protect the weak and needing help, not to pass by injustice and evil that is happening.
Upon reaching the age of majority, students of Shaolin may choose your life path - some go into the world and choose any profession, others remain in the monastery forever and continue to grow their spirit.
