Russian teachers assigned to look for potential criminals in elementary school

The Ministry of Education of Russia sent out guidelines on the prevention of inadequate deviant behavior of schoolchildrenstarting from the youngest grades.

Researchers from the Faculty of Legal Psychology and the Center for Emergency Psychological Aid at the MCPPU participated in creating recommendations.

Primary school teachers are required to be more attentive to their little students.

Particular attention - the episodes of violence against classmates. Alarming signs are also recommended to consider a high interest in weapons, excessive temper and stubbornness of children.

When children are at high risk, teachers are advised to meet and talk with parents. The teacher has the right to involve in this problem both the school psychologist and representatives of the guardianship bodies, if conversations with the parents have not had any effect.

For each "problem" student will be approved personal development and behavior correction program.
