Russians will be able to receive child benefits not at the place of registration, but at the place of residence

The State Duma of Russia will soon consider a bill that changes the procedure for calculating child benefits in the country. In particular, monthly benefits for the first and second children can be received not only at the place of registration, as is the case today, but also at the place of actual residence of the family.

Today, in accordance with the law, the family can apply for child allowances at the place of residence, that is, by registration in the passport. At the same time, the Civil Code of Russia determines the place of residence any place in which the family lives at the moment. It is this discrepancy that the deputies intend to correct.

The legal inaccuracy of the parliamentarians was indicated by the members of the Government of the Russian Federation, they also submitted the corresponding bill for consideration.

Far today not all families with children live where they are registered. Sometimes for registration benefits in general you need to go to another region. In the country, according to the members of the Government, the electronic communication between the MFC and other state bodies has been established, and therefore young parents need eliminate the need to travel with documents hundreds of kilometers away, to become recipients of the measures of state support put by him.

After the adoption of the document to apply for child support moms and dads will be able to in any region of the countrywhere they currently live, even if they are not registered there and do not have a temporary registration.

The measure is very timely, since the recipients of benefits for the first and second children in Russia will become more from January 2020 - according to experts, payments will cover up to 70% of families. The whole matter is at the disposal of President Vladimir Putin, who offered to pay state benefits not only to those who have a per capita family income in the amount of one and a half living wages, as is happening today, a and those who have an income of two living wages. The norm will take effect on January 1, 2020.
