A fabulous journey: an 8-year-old girl left St. Petersburg for Santa Claus

A first grader from St. Petersburg decided to bring the New Year and one went to Veliky Ustyug to meet Santa Claus. The girl failed to get to the village of the winter wizard from the first, but the adventure really turned out to be magical.

It is known that all children dream to meet and talk with Santa Claus. Some of them go to the Christmas tree for school, others - on city holidays in the squares, and the first-grader from the northern capital decided to go to Santa Claus's home in Veliky Ustyug.

She persuaded her grandmother to join her on a trip, but the grandmother was late for the station, and the girl got on the train alone. From Ladozhskiy train station went on time.

The grandmother, who found no granddaughter or train, went to the police. She reported that the girl was traveling alone in a train. It is not clear how the baby got there, because the documents and tickets were with her grandmother.

The train picked up speed, and the girl was already in anticipation of the fabulous New Year's adventure. The absence of her grandmother, apparently, did not upset her greatly, because the first grader did not even try to call her relative, to contact her.

The young traveler reached only the first station. On Volkhovskaya, the transport police officers removed the girl from the train.

The police asked the grandmother strictly not to punish the girl and even helped the child’s desire to come true - they They put both grandmother and granddaughter on the next trainThey gave a certificate that the passengers were late for their train, but they have tickets.

It is not yet known whether the girl liked the trip to Ustyug, but it is certain that the police talked with the child’s parents and imposed an administrative fine on them for not teaching the child simple security measures, in particular, they did not explain that in no case can you board the train without adults.
