Batman vs. Cheburashka: Soyuzmultfilm refused to cooperate with the developers of the largest children's park in the country

Soyuzmultfilm decided stop cooperation with the developers of the network of the country's largest amusement parks "Dream Island".

Multipliers considered it unprofitable for them to allow their characters, familiar to many generations of adults and children, to be used.

The company building the largest children's amusement park in Russia has long been called the “Russian Disneyland”.

Developers refused to pay film studios annual payments for the use of images of multi-heroes.

The project began to be implemented in 2013. Then the developer has promised to build a network of theme parks in the heroes of cartoons from DreamWorks in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Yekaterinburg, and if successful in other major Russian cities.

DreamWorks, in turn, demanded that the park be made monobrand, so that no other characters, except those belonging to them, would be put up there.

The choice was made in favor of the Russian characters. The project was approved by the Minister of Culture Medinsky.

Now, in the light of the last conflict with Soyuzmultfilm, the question of opening parks in Russia is a big question.

If the film studio fundamentally prohibits the use of images of Buratino, Cheburashka and Genes, Gerov Prostokvashino, then the developers simply will have no one to complete their entertainment facility.

While planned for delivery in September 2019. What will happen next is hard to say.
