In the Criminal Code of Russia will be an article for the appeal of children to suicide
It is planned to add a new article to the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, which will provide for punishment for calling children to suicide.
It will add to the list of crimes against the family and minors. Under the article will be able to get not only those who openly encourages children to commit suicide or creates intolerable conditions for their existence, which leads to suicide, but also instigators from the Internet.
The text of the article has not yet been made public; until September 17, 2018, it is supplemented, corrected, then it will be put up for public discussion.
It is already known that the punishment is quite harsh, and it will also apply to the adolescents themselves, since they are often the curators and inspirers of the so-called "death groups" on the Internet.
If it is proved that a teenager instigated other children to death, posted a dangerous context on the Web, he will bear the most severe punishment, no indulgence on age will be done.
The draft law was developed on the instructions of Russian President Vladimir Putin. It is supported by the Government of the Russian Federation, as well as ministries and departments.
