A baby was born in Northern Macedonia with a record weight of 5.7 kilograms for the country
Doctors in Northern Macedonia had to take unusual births. A baby with a record weight of 5 kilograms 700 grams was born in Skopje in the gynecology and obstetrics clinic. For the country, such a baby was a record. The height of the boy-hero was 55 centimeters. Both mother and child, according to the doctors, are doing well.
For Northern Macedonia, the birth of a child with such parameters is, of course, a record, but globally this little boy is not the biggest newborn at all.
Two years ago, in Russia, in Novosibirsk, a 32-year-old woman was born a child weighing 5 kilograms 760 grams, which is a full 60 grams more.
The world record was set in 2012 in China, so far, the Chinese boy Chung Chun remains a weight champion at birth - he was born with a weight of 17 kilograms 40 grams. His name is listed in the Guinness Book of Records.
In 2009, a baby weighing 8 kilograms 700 grams was born in Sumatra. The Russian record for a resident of Altai is a girl born with a weight of 7 kilograms 700 grams.
