Housing for orphans will now provide under the new rules

The State Duma of the Russian Federation in its final reading adopted a bill that provides for new rules for allocating children to orphans and those left without parental care, housing. Rules come into force from January 1, 2019.

From this day, not only children themselves, but also their legal representatives - guardians, educators can submit applications for the inclusion of orphans in the list of those in need of housing.

The accounting procedure, which was previously individual for each region, from January of next year will become unified, all-Russian. The law will now more vigilantly protect the interests of children than ever before.

Therefore, it provides for the possibility to initiate the placement of a child in a queue at an apartment even when the guardians did not bother about it themselves. If within three months after the orphan is 14 years old, neither he himself nor his representatives have applied for it, write the corresponding statement can employees of guardianship and trusteeship.

Today, orphans, who did not submit the necessary documents in time, have to rent apartments from the state. Legal proceedings of such a plan are lengthy, costly and morally exhausting.

It is believed that now, with the adoption of new rules, the number of lawsuits from orphans will be less, because they will all time to get their place in the queue for the provision of square meters after the age of majority.

And one more important innovation - if an orphan dies, his family will no longer be deprived of the right to live in an apartment received from the state, as it was before.

Changes have been made to Federal Law No. 44. It is assumed that purchases, tenders and contracts between the municipality and developers of orphanages will take place much faster, which in turn will speed up the process of getting a flat by a child several times.
