This design method is attractive for children for two reasons: firstly, it does not require any effort or special skills, because children can buy such a gift literally from the age of one year old, secondly, the invisibility of the connection seems like magic to kids and provokes additional interest.

Minimal sets are made up of banal geometric shapes (squares and triangles), so something difficult to make of them will not work. Thanks to them, the child can fold three-dimensional geometric shapes, having a visual idea of ​​the three-dimensionality and the strength of magnetic attraction, however, there is no talk about a full-fledged game.

• Durability differs not only in assembled structures, but also in individual parts. The plastic used to make the Mag Building is not a model of eternal strength, because active children, consumed by a thirst for knowledge of the inner world of things, will surely quite quickly break the parts.Reviews of dissatisfied parents indicate that not only regret for the money spent will be the only negative emotion - pointed fragments can be dangerous for the baby. In the original, judging by the same reviews, the strength is still higher, although, in fairness, it should not be idealized either.

• No matter how hard you try, it takes time to create a copy, especially since a copy cannot appear before the original. Mag Building makes every effort to keep up, but still lags behind.

Like the original, the simplest and cheapest sets of the Mag Building are kits for constructing the simplest geometric shapes. A set of 20 or 28 parts consists of trivial squares and triangles, because for a baby he is simple, but not very interesting.

Another thing - thematic sets with special details. For example, the designer of 36 or 48 elements already includes wheels that allow you to assemble the machine. Sets of 56 or 58 parts offer the same possibilities, but there are more elements in them and their increased diversity is observed, which contributes to connecting the creative vein when creating the same machine.

A set of 78 elements is somewhat reminiscent of the original Carnival kit - from its parts you can assemble not only a machine, but also a full-fledged Ferris wheel, for which even a special support is provided.

In a set of 118 or 138 parts, the variety of components continues to grow — there are already hexagons, two types of squares and triangles, pentagons, angles, and more. It should be noted that with a large number of details, the complexity of the game also increases, so you need to either not rush to purchase the largest sets, or purchase them for two children, who would assemble the designer together.

There are even larger kits, consisting of 200 or 202 parts. The composition of such largest sets may include components with real learning value: for example, individual elements may be in the form of letters or numbers, allowing you to study the score, the alphabet and decorate hand-made crafts with any inscription at will. Given the huge number of parts, such kits are sometimes sold in special plastic boxes, and not in simple cardboard boxes.
