Composition

The main component of all forms of "Erius" is a substance called desloratadine. One milliliter of syrup contains it in an amount of 500 μg, and one tablet that is absorbed in a dose of 2.5 mg or 5 mg. From one tablet in the shell, the patient receives 5 mg of desloratadine.

Inactive ingredients of the syrup are sucrose, sorbitol, benzoate and sodium citrate. In addition, the sweet product includes water, flavoring, citric acid and propylene glycol. Even in its composition is edetate disodium and yellow dye.

The core of the tablets to be swallowed consists of. in addition to the active substance from MCC, talc, corn starch and calcium phosphate, and for the shell of such “Erius” wax (carnauba and white bee) and a special coating called opadry (transparent and blue) are used.

Operating principle

Desloratadine has the ability to block peripheral histamine receptors for a long time.
