Children's health camps

Content

During the school year, schoolchildren are no less tired than adults at work - especially since the school curriculum becomes more difficult every year, and the requirements of teachers are getting higher. The usual summer vacation allows you to recover only partially, so parents should turn their attention to children's health camps.

Features and benefits

The specificity of the camp is the focus of its program on the maximum restoration of body tone. It’s no secret that passive rest doesn’t help to maintain normal muscle tone - in other words, by resting in this way, you can cause more damage to your body.

Restoring a child’s health requires a number of factors, which are not so easy to follow in compliance with at home. But in the camp will be provided with the right conditions.

  • Maximum psychological relief. Restoration of the body is impossible in a state of stress or depression, so the primary task is to completely distract the child from the routine. This can be done through a change of atmosphere, new acquaintances with the same vacationers, a friendly atmosphere in the team and an interesting and entertaining entertainment program.
  • Favorable ecological environment. To restore physical health it is necessary, first of all, to eliminate the adverse factors affecting it in everyday life. In large cities, this is traditionally polluted air and water - industry and a large amount of transport can harm even the most healthy person. For this reason, children's recreation centers, especially those of a pronounced restorative direction, are located in ecologically clean areas, far from megacities, closer to the pristine nature in its best manifestations.
  • Carefully planned physical activity. Rest should not lead to the fact that the resting elementary spilled, exercise is still needed - just, probably, in moderation. Another thing is that it is quite difficult to calculate the optimal level of physical activity for a particular child, unless you are an expert in this field. In all normal recreation camps, it is experts who are involved in drawing up a program of exercises and active games.
  • Thoughtful food. On the one hand, a growing children's organism, and even in conditions of regular, even if not beyond, physical activity requires a constant infusion of calories, on the other, their excess will not benefit, becoming overweight. Again, to accurately calculate the size of the portions, make them really tasty, and make sure that the diet is not supplemented with all sorts of harmful products, it is possible only in the conditions of the camp.

As practice shows, even self-confident parents cannot independently cope with the observance of all of the above. Consequently, the children's health camp is an optimal environment for rest with recovery.

Varieties

An additional positive feature of any camp, and not only wellness, is that each recreation center offers its own, special recreation conditions, allowing you to choose the best option that will interest your child. If the camp is a wellness camp, then there must necessarily be a special emphasis on health and its strengthening, however, among such organizations one can distinguish various types aimed at different audiences. The following are the most common options.

The fact that you need to take with you to the camp can be viewed in the next video.

Health education camp

Who said that on vacation you can not do something useful for the mind? Yes, the task of such an organization is, among other things, the restoration of the child after a difficult school year, but the approach to learning here Radically different from what is practiced in high school:

  1. The staff, if possible, tries to present knowledge in a playful way, unobtrusively - so that the child becomes interested in himself and does not perceive it as a routine.
  2. The amount of knowledge typed in the head of the rest, is still different in the smaller side, and for the conditional poor performance is not punished.

Sports camp

This option is much more suitable for those children who do not even think of themselves without active games and constant movement. The difference of rest in such an organization from daily walks at the place of residence consists, again, in clean air, balanced nutrition, and also in the fact that the number of loads here is strictly calculated. No matter how much a child loves to play football, he certainly admits that this is more laborious than rest, and although such a pastime has health benefits, excessive zeal will not give an opportunity to rest and gain strength before the new school year.

Children's Day Camp

Such organizations are relatively rare and are good if they are located near the house of a resting child.

The idea as a whole resembles a kindergarten - children of one age group gather here, who spend the day under the supervision of counselors, with the same nutrition and a certain developmental program, not to mention the stable presence of the company. Every evening, the children go home, and in the morning they gather again.

In this variant, the ecological cleanliness of the area is most likely excluded, but this is a good way to keep children cheap from the street, to occupy them with something useful and to improve. Such an organization is suitable for those parents who would not want to leave the child for the whole summer at home unattended while they themselves are at work.

Program and events

In general terms, the schedule of the day in children's health camps differs little from that in the camps of a different orientation. The only significant difference is the increased number of active games and activities on the street.

The day begins with the rise, charging and morning toilet, as well as a brief overview of the upcoming day. After breakfast, almost until lunchtime, children spend time outdoors - it can be sports, excursions, swimming in open water (if there aren't any nearby, it is permissible to replace it with a dip in the pool) or thematic groups.

Leisure time is allocated, but it is relatively small. After lunch, there is a time for rest, and after a quiet hour and afternoon tea, almost until dinner itself, the children are again busy with something from the list of ideas presented above. After dinner, the program has only rest - a cultural program in the form of a movie or concerts, contests and a disco, and then hang up.

Of course, this applies only to those camps where children stay for the night, and do not go home, however, during the day the same daily routine is observed - just within the time when the children are in place.

What documents are needed

You shouldn't think that it is so easy to send a child to the camp - you will need to collect an impressive package of documents that cannot be issued in one day or even one week.. For this reason, take care of collecting the necessary papers in advance, and two weeks before sending is the minimum time when it is time to start doing something.

It is worth noting that Different organizations may have noticeably different requirements for the set of documents for recreation in the camp, so be sure to check with the administration what kind of information they want to see. In view of certain differences in requirements, we will single out only the basic, obligatory points that will be asked for sure:

  • Stay on rest of the established sample - Actually, a document that confirms the legal right of your child to be at a specific recreation center during this period of time.
  • Child's identity card. Children under the age of 14 will have enough birth certificates, while older to teens already need a passport. Experts do not recommend trusting the child with the originals of such documents - photocopies will be sufficient for most administrations. At the same time to travel for the border may need international passport, and even if the recreation center is located in one of the states that do not require foreign passports from our compatriots, it is still possible to cross the border only by the original identity card.
  • Medical certificates. Many organizations are repelled by the standard forms 079 / y and 076 / y, while some require separate references for most infectious diseases, the list of which must be specifically specified each time. Almost always, a certificate of the epidemiological environment is also required, both at school and at the place of residence, because a visually healthy child could become a carrier of a dangerous disease a day before departure.

If there is a swimming pool at the recreation center, a special certificate is required to allow it to be visited. They may also ask for a document about the traumas and diseases they have suffered, or, less frequently, also a policy of compulsory medical insurance.

If the camp is located on the territory of Russia, then medical documentation is the most difficult moment in the process of organizing the trip. Be prepared for the fact that your son or daughter will have to go through a full medical commission and pass tests.

Where to go

It is believed that in recent decades, the number of children's health camps in the country has declined substantially, but there are still hundreds and thousands of them all over the state. At this, everyone has their own preferences, and it is impossible to compare everything to each other, so many are guided by geography.

Traditionally, the most popular recreation on Black sea - in particular, in the Tuapse district of the Krasnodar region. The rest here is good for a very warm climate and the proximity of the gentle South Sea. Here, every recreation center is worthy of attention, dozens of those located here are known throughout the country, and as an example, you can call the "Pearl of Russia" in Anapa and "The Seagull" under Tuapse. Similar conditions are presented in the adjacent Crimeawhere near the city of Evpatoria is a well-known organization called "Timurovets".

Guests and recreation centers are constantly full, located in close proximity to the largest Russian cities - in Moscow and in the Leningrad region. They are conveniently located close to the consumer, and as environmentally friendly places offer areas in the forests, tens of kilometers from the metropolis, often near picturesque lakes. Residents of the capital love to send their children to recreation centers like the "Hunters for Success" camp in Mytishchipromising a program capable of captivating any adult - here you can go hiking with tents, canoeing, and military-sports programs.

For those parents who would like to focus on a more complete unity with the pristine nature, centers have been created in less densely populated and popular regions. Among the inhabitants of the European part of Russia is very quiet forest recreation centers of the Vologda region are popular, in the Asian part of the country indescribable beauty of wild mountain and taiga lakes can be found in the Altai Territory, which, again, will resonate with a person of any age.

Naturally, these are only the main directions, whereas children's health camps exist in almost any subject of our country. Be careful when sending your child somewhere far away - at a distance you can check the reputation of the recreation center only if it has a specific name, and if the name sounds like "Sunny" or "Dzerzhinets", then a particular institution can turn out to be very popular. and upscale and highly questionable.

Best abroad

It is even more difficult to select the best children's recreation camps outside Russia than inside it, since there are definitely more recreation centers all over the world than in one, albeit the largest, country. Here we should start from the climatic conditions of each particular country, the convenience of moving there and back, as well as the financial possibilities of the parents.

According to the first criterion, states are in the lead, popular and among adults - Turkey, Spain, Cyprus, Greece and so on. As for the last two criteria, the unconditional leadership of our two closest neighbors, Belarus and Ukraine, is in this respect.

In Belarus, there are no recreation centers that are truly internationally popular, the choice in their favor is usually made by residents of adjacent regions of Russia, where there are no children's health camps. Belarusian recreation centers for children are distinguished by consistently good quality of service, relatively low prices and amazing cleanliness of forest air.

Of the conditions that are not in Russia, Ukraine can provide the ideal mountain for children’s recreation.

Altai is astounding, however, it is located far enough away from the residence of the absolute majority of Russians, and there are no proper conditions in the Caucasus - the mountains are too harsh here.

Another thing - The Carpathians, with their prevailing altitude in the range of 1000-2000 m, a huge number of hiking trails and truly untouched places of delightful natureand, most importantly, a developed infrastructure of recreation and transport bases, which makes it possible to get here without transfers from many large cities in the European part of Russia.

How to choose

If you have already decided that a health camp is necessary, this greatly simplifies the task of further selection. To begin with, clearly formulate for yourself a list of mandatory conditions - where should the organization be located (on sea, in the mountains, near the house), what direction (for example, with a bias towards training or to sports), what are the living conditions (the number of people living in the room, and rooms in general, or tents).

Make a list of several camps that seem interesting to you, and show them to the child, inviting him to make a choice.

Carefully collect information about the place where you intend to send your child. Use the official website of the organization, various forums on the Internet, and if someone from your friends already has experience of working with this recreation center, be sure to ask.

If all these sources have not given the final picture, call the contact phone number in the administration and ask questions. At the same time, think critically - it’s clear that the camp is unlikely to criticize itself, therefore, in terms of impressions, be guided by independent sources. Also make a discount on the subjectivity of individual people - do not cross out the recreation center as soon as you find a negative review.

Tips

These recommendations are not binding, and in some cases, neglecting them does not cause any harm, even the opposite. Nevertheless, they should be taken into consideration, and whether to fulfill or not to perform depends on the characteristics of your child. So:

  • A small child, especially - someone who has never left his parents for a long time, can be hard to bear the whole shift away from home, in an unfamiliar team. In this case think about the option of a short trip, no more than 10-12 days. If the organization is located relatively close to home, you can easily visit the child and support him in this way, and in extreme cases - and take him ahead of time.
  • In an unfamiliar team, at first it is even difficult for an adult, so it’s good if the child goes not alone, but with someone from friends or good acquaintances.especially for the first time. If the baby is not older than 8 years, then even one of the staff would not interfere as such a friend.
  • The period of adaptation in an unfamiliar team is very difficult, so in the first days most children call home and ask their parents to pick them up as soon as possible. However, you don’t need to be afraid of such calls, so convince the child to stay there a little longer - he will surely get involved in time and want to stay. Ask him what he doesn't like and try to instill optimism in him. Seriously to think about taking the child out of the camp is worthwhile only if it has been complaining for more than a week now.
  • In some camps they are asked to provide a kind of card of the child, in which his particular features would be described. Even if the institution did not mention this, and your child has specific features (has contraindications for physical exertion, does not know how to swim, is allergic), try to find an opportunity to report this to people who will be responsible for it during rest.
