In addition, this version of the omelet will suit kids with an egg white allergy. To make it, beat one yolk, gradually adding about 60 ml of breast milk (or infant formula) and adding a tablespoon of semolina. The whipped mixture is poured into a mold and baked in the oven.

Keep the omelette on low heat with the lid closed until ready.

This device allows you to cook an omelet at once for the whole family. You will need about 250 ml of milk and 7 eggs. Beat eggs with milk in a blender at low speed or a whisk. Pour the mixture into an oiled bowl of the multicooker. Set the baking mode and cook for 15 minutes.

Egg selection tips

  • A fresh chicken egg should not be light, and when shaken inside the egg, nothing should gurgle.
  • The color of the shell does not affect the quality of the egg, but the fresh product will have a slight shine.
  • Do not purchase eggs for baby omelet in questionable places. It is better to buy them from a trusted seller or store, making sure that the product has the appropriate signs.
  • Do not buy eggs that have cracks or chips, as well as very dirty or washed eggs. Remember that the washed eggs are stored less, as washing removes the protective film from the shell and the egg starts to deteriorate.
  • Do not assume that the largest eggs are the best choice. A larger egg contains more water, and less nutrients in them, since these eggs are carried by middle-aged hens. It is best to take eggs for the baby of the second category (they are young chickens and these eggs have very pleasant taste) or the first category (they have the most balanced composition).

At home, you can easily check if the egg is fresh if you dip it in cool water. A good egg will sink, and if the product is not fresh, the egg will float.
